Applied Electrical Systems Fundamentals is a six-week, instructor-led online course providing 24 total hours of live instruction. Participants meet virtually for four hours each week and receive structured instruction, coaching, course materials, and applicable Canvas resources.

•   Participants must complete all 24 scheduled instructional hours through live attendance or an approved makeup process to qualify for a BET certificate of completion.  
•   Live sessions may be recorded and made available to enrolled participants through the BET Canvas classroom. Recordings are provided for review and approved makeup purposes and are not automatically a substitute for required live attendance.  
•   Participants are expected to attend all scheduled live sessions. When an absence cannot be avoided, BET may approve a makeup assignment that includes reviewing the session recording and completing the associated Canvas activities. Missed sessions are not considered complete until all assigned makeup requirements have been satisfied.
•    Six months of all-inclusive Canvas access beginning on the cohort start date.
•   The live cohort includes 24 instructional hours over six weeks. Participants retain access to the applicable Canvas course materials and supplemental resources for six months from the cohort start date.
•    Participants who complete the required instructional hours, approved makeup work, and required Canvas activities will receive a Brothers Employment & Training certificate of completion.

Note : The BET certificate of completion documents participation in and completion of the course. It is not a Texas electrician license, professional certification, apprenticeship credential, college credit, or guarantee of employment.
