Enrollment Information

Brothers Employment & Training offers online electrical and industrial learning through the Canvas learning platform. Available formats include self-paced instruction, live instructor-led training, virtual simulations, and Texas electrical continuing education.

  1. Review the Workforce Training and TDLR Continuing Education pages and select the course that best matches your learning goals and eligibility.
  2. Complete the BET enrollment form with your current contact information.
  3. Review the applicable program description, price, schedule, completion requirements, and refund terms.
  4. Complete payment for the selected program.
  5. Receive your enrollment confirmation and Canvas classroom access instructions by email.
  6. Complete the applicable course requirements.

Canvas enrollment is activated only after payment has been confirmed. Starting a checkout without completing payment does not activate course access.

Beginner programs may be available to learners without prior electrical experience unless otherwise stated in the individual program description.

The Texas Electrical Continuing Education course is intended for eligible Texas electrician license holders completing continuing education for license renewal. Participants must provide an accurate license type and license number.

Students must have:

  • A reliable internet connection
  • A computer or compatible mobile device
  • A working email address
  • Access to the Canvas learning platform
  • The ability to view course videos and complete online activities

Students must complete the requirements published for their selected program. Eligible students will receive the completion documentation specified for that program.

A BET certificate of completion is not a Texas electrician license, a registered apprenticeship credential, or a guarantee of employment. Program completion does not authorize an individual to perform work that requires a state or local license.

Refund eligibility depends on the selected program, the date of withdrawal, whether course access has been provided, and whether instruction has started. Review the applicable Refund and Cancellation Policy before submitting payment.

Students who need help selecting a program should submit the Program Information Request form or contact BET before purchasing.
